Statement of Interest: I would like to express interest in serving as the President on the DePaul Graduate Women in Business board.  As a member since 2009 I have flourished as part of a group that supported and encouraged the enrichment of my experience as a woman while at DePaul.  I have considerable experience in leadership roles and group development. My role as a program manager with HSBC has provided me with hands on familiarity and experience of operations, planning and management delegation.  I look forward to the opportunity to give back what I received from the great work of the DePaul GWB.

Description of current job:

Program Manager, HSBC January 2008 – Present        

· Develop, implement, and monitor operations of employee health & wellness programs and events resulting in a 35% decrease in annual employee healthcare costs.

· Actively recruit, develop, and manage part-time employees and oversees contractors and manage vendor relationships.

· Conducted needs assessments and developed marketing strategy to increase employee participation and engagement.

· Improved accounting and budgeting practices and renegotiated vendor contracts creating a cost savings.
